Welcome to "The Gathering Place" - a warm and friendly "10th hole" at the Dragon's Tooth Golf Course.
What's it like? Well, it''s not a cafe and it's not a restaurant and it's not a dusty, run-down club house. It's, er - just great. There's a small bar, about six tables and a welcoming atmosphere. Best of all is the view, because wide windows open up a sweep of grass and woodland then beyond, glistening Loch Leven and the Morvern mountains.
Mary, our Chef has a passion for using local produce and natural ingredients, there's a lot of taste about.
You will see from the sample menu that we don't do sophisticated or expensive. On offer is a simple selection of original menu items and with very reasonable prices you will enjoy Highland and Scottish fare that is natural, wholesome and cheap.
Let's not forget drink. We pride ourselves on good, fresh Italian Coffee and will make yours any way you like. There aren't many wines and there's no formal list (we stock just 2 reds, 2 whites and a rose), but guess what? They are good and very well priced. For under £13 you get a nice bottle.

Everyone is welcome at The Gathering Place and we're delighted to see non golfers. In fact, they are with us all the time and for those living in the area, or visitors passing through on holiday, this is the "must visit" place for food in the Ballachulish and Glencoe area.
Families are welcome and children are free to roam and play, safely away from the main road and with lots of diversions in the bushes and trees nearbye.
The Gathering Place is a brilliant venue for golf outings, tournaments, private meetings, birthday parties and social events. It's a highly flexible sort of place and the team enjoy meeting any challenge. Do please just contact us to brainstorm your event.
