Welcome to "The Dragon's Tooth Golf Course" and "The Gathering Place" - the cosy club house at the heart of this remarkable West Coast discovery in Ballachulish near Fort William.
It's not just the location that is special (and this must surely be one of the most dramatic and beautiful loch-side locations in the Highlands), the course itself offers delight, magic and challenge.
The Dragons Tooth has quickly become a firm favourite with golfers far and wide. Why?
- Golfers of all abilities find a real welcome - first time golfers, complete amateurs and "early adopters" are as 'at home' here as seasoned experts
- Love, care and investment has created superb playing conditions (and it's getting better all the time!)
- Charges are low, so it doesn't cost much to play
- The Gathering Place club house is a "10th hole" dream come true - here you will find decent fresh coffee, home baking, creative meals and lots of friendly services, including free wi-fi
The 9 hole Dragon's Tooth Golf Course at Ballachulish is located on an undulating, tree-lined estate at the entrance to mighty Glencoe, just south of Fort William. Wide sweeps of grassland drop down to almost touch the loch. Panoramas from each of

the challenging holes are breathtaking and the quality of the fairways matches mightier courses in Scotland.
This is also a wonderful base to enjoy other outdoor activities. From the natural hub that is The Gathering Place, you access superb cycle tracks, walks of every grade and information on a host of activities provided by local activity operators. After all, this is The Outdoor Capital of the UK!
We look forward to your visit, and will help in any way we can to ensure you have a memorable and fun time.
