2010 and the Junior Group has never been stronger!  20+ young ones are out on a Thursday evening for tuition, and it's a huge tribute to the 4 volunteer instructors that the evenings prove so enjoyable and compelling.

 The Dragon's Tooth Golf Club - a member's group associated with the course - continues to grow from strength to strength.  A high proportion of those playing the course are members of the Club, and the group has an active committee with a number of sub-groups.  Full details are on the notice board in the Gathering Place.

JUNIOR GOLF FESTIVAL - 15th April 2010

55 local Primary School pupils took part in the Junior Golf Festival which was held on the 15th April.

The pupils were divided into 4 groups, each group looked after by a teacher and 1-2 Dragon's Tooth Golf Club members and David the Greenkeeper. The event was considered a huge success by all concerned and we look forward to at least some of the pupils taking advantage of the coaching sessions which are due to start later in the month.

After a fantastic season (under new ownership and with the fairways playing so well) we are looking forward to some further improvments on the course and in The Gathering Place for 2010.

On the Course - David is hard at work over the winter not only clearing all those leaves and twigs, but also improving drainage.  There's a rumour that he's minded to start a programme of adding second tee's for each hole.

Winter Opening times for the Golf Course are every day, daylight hours.

Winter Opening times for The Gathering Place are - cloakrooms, every day 10am - 4pm. The cafe is open each weekend for tasty snacks and special events;
